I totally get your point My mother is a lot overweight (350+), but she is so sweet, loving and caring, and has a husband who loves her dearly. She wants to be healthy, and she's trying her hardest. I love her for that too. ^_^
maybe not - but sculpting and refining a persons figure is not a lot different than creating art. It takes desire, effort, work, care, time, dedication, sacrifice and in the end if all goes well that person is left with something they can be proud of, something they enjoy sharing. Many times in my opinion it is not the physically fit and conscious person that is shallow but more often those accusing. Anyway it's to be cared about for who you are.
I do not think any less of a person because of weight cosmetically. My issue is everyone acts like theres nothing wrong with being overweight and there is. I'm not shallow or anything, but what about being healthy? Health is quite important to me, and I'm completely with the no bullying everyone is beautiful in there own way campaign, but shouldn't everyone WANT and TRY to be healthy? I just think everyone is getting a little too accepting, to the point where no one strives to be better. Yes you should be yourself, but you should be the best you you can be. Other than that little rant, I quite like the message. ^-^
